Omnisum is not open yet. Right now this website does exactly one thing with personal data: it takes an email address from people who want to be told when it opens. This notice covers that and nothing else. A fuller notice — covering the documents you upload, the analysis and payment — will be published here before the service goes live, and you will be asked to read it then.
Who we are
Omnisum is operated by Build Place Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 15073761, 111-112 Pentax House, South Hill Avenue, South Harrow, Harrow, London HA2 0DU. We are the data controller for the information described here. Contact us at enquiry@buildplace.uk.
What we collect
- Your email address, because you typed it into the waitlist form.
- Which door you came through — whether you have quotes to check, do not have quotes yet, or are a builder. This is so the first email you get is about the thing you actually asked about.
That is the entire list. We do not record your IP address, your browser, or your behaviour on this site, and there are no advertising or tracking cookies here.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Consent. You gave us your address so we would email you about the launch. You can withdraw it at any time — see below — and withdrawing is as easy as giving it.
What we do with it
We email you when Omnisum opens, and occasionally before that if there is something genuinely worth telling you. Nothing else. We do not sell personal data, we do not share your address with builders, suppliers or marketers, and we take no referral fees from anyone.
Who else touches it
The site is hosted by Vercel and the waitlist is stored with Supabase, both acting as our processors under contract. Where data is handled outside the UK, the transfer is covered by the safeguards UK data protection law requires.
How long we keep it
Until Omnisum launches and you have had the email, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If the project does not launch, we delete the list.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email enquiry@buildplace.uk and we will act on it — we are not going to make you chase us. Every email we send will also have a one-click unsubscribe.
If you think we have got something wrong you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you told us first so we can fix it.
